Indoor Air Quality Services for Austin Homes

Dust, pet dander and renovation debris settle in your ductwork, and every time the system runs, some of it rides back into the house. That buildup can also choke airflow.

We clean the ductwork, supply vents and returns, pulling the debris out rather than pushing it deeper into the system, and without making a mess of your rooms.

It makes the most sense after a renovation, when you can see buildup around the vents, or when the house gets dusty faster than it used to.

What’s Moving Through Your Home’s Air?

The air in your house loops through the return, the filter, the air handler and the ducts every time the system runs. Dust, pet dander, mold spores and household chemicals ride along. In an Austin home, where the air handler usually sits in the attic, a weak filter or a leaky return duct pulling in attic air means that loop picks up more than it drops.

For the air outside, our live Austin Air Quality Index shows current AQI, pollen and weather for Central Texas.

Gold Eagle works on the parts of the house that shape that air: whole-home dehumidifiers, duct cleaning and sealing, and, as a licensed Texas mold remediation company, mold in your AC or ducts. Mold elsewhere in the house goes to a general mold remediation company. If the problem is in your HVAC system, call 512-489-4653 and we will come look.

Dry Fog Treatment From Pure Maintenance

Dry fog treatment is done by our sister company, Pure Maintenance of Central Texas (512-904-4646), not by Gold Eagle. The fog fills every room and closet and travels through the HVAC ductwork. Pure Maintenance says the fog treats odors on hard, non-porous surfaces and temporarily reduces them in the air. It is where we point people when pet, smoke or cooking smells linger after the HVAC side is clean.
