Ductless Mini-Split and Furnace Installation in Kyle, TX

It starts with a load calculation for the room, then placement of the indoor head and the outdoor unit. The outdoor unit sits on a pad or wall bracket, tied to the head by a small line set and a drain. Many Kyle subdivisions have HOA rules on where outdoor equipment can go and how it is screened, so we settle placement against those rules before anything goes on the wall.

Most newer Kyle homes came with builder-installed heat pumps. They heat efficiently until a hard freeze pushes them onto electric backup strips. Two more: the first town lots were auctioned in September 1880 under what is still called the Auction Oak, and in 2021 the Texas Legislature named Kyle the official Pie Capital of Texas through 2031.
