Most people call us when something is already wrong, so we keep the process simple and honest:
- Call, text or book online. During business hours (Mon to Sat, 7am to 7pm) a real person at our Austin office answers, and we offer same-day visits when the schedule allows.
- A licensed technician comes to you. Gold Eagle holds Texas HVAC license TACLA119235 and mold remediation license RCO1783, we are fully insured, and our technicians are background-checked Gold Eagle employees, not subcontractors.
- You see the problem and your options first. We explain what we found and give you clear choices before any work begins. No pressure to replace a system that can be repaired.
- We fix it and leave it clean. Then we make sure the system is running right before we leave.

How long does an AC last in Central Texas?

Should I repair or replace my system?
It depends on the age of the system, the cost of the repair and how well it keeps your home comfortable. We will give you both options honestly. Read Repair or Replace? or build your system online to see replacement options first.
Do you work on all brands?
Yes. We service and repair all major brands of air conditioners, heat pumps and furnaces, and we are a Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Contractor for ductless mini-splits. See the brands we work with.
Why does my house feel sticky even when the AC is running?
Austin humidity. An AC that is oversized, has a dirty coil or runs in short bursts cools the air without pulling enough moisture out. A whole home dehumidifier or a correctly sized system usually fixes it. Check today’s Austin Air Quality Index too.
Is regular maintenance worth it?
