A Lakeway Seasonal Checklist

March: clean the outdoor coils and change filters as spring pollen starts.
May: test every system or zone before the summer heat settles in.
July: check that the attic drain pans and condensate lines are clear.
October: schedule a heating visit and test heat pump defrost and backup heat.
December to February: Ashe juniper (cedar) grows all over the hills west of Austin, so cedar season can be heavy. Use a quality filter, keep the return sealed and watch the Austin air quality index.
Year-round: keep plants, mulch and leaves clear of the outdoor unit so it can breathe.
